No, this isn’t a wedding ceremony gone terrible bad…this is Peter and Rebecca and this image was taken during their second dance at their wedding reception and yes, she is upside down over a marble dance floor without a net. They did three solo dances for their guests and they were all done exceptionally well. This couple definitely had the spirit moving within them, oh yeah…

Their dance instructors were  Francisco and Stacey Martinez of The Dance Family Studio in Pasadena. I have had the pleasure of photographing a number of the couples they have given dance instruction to, and I’ve always been impressed and have heard nothing but the highest of praise for them.

Watch for a post to follow. The ceremony was at the Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank with the reception at the Flamingo Room in Tujunga.

Congratulations again to you both, Rebecca and Peter. I wish you good health and happiness and whatever you do, keep on dancing.
